The essentials
What Pulp does, and what it does not
In the words of its privacy policy.
No network permission
“The app contains no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising and no trackers. It requests no network permission at all — so it is technically incapable of sending anything to anyone.”
Privacy Policy, “In short”No account to create
“Pulp asks you for no email, no name and no password.”
Privacy Policy, section 4What Pulp reads
“Android delivers every notification on the device to the service — that is how the system works, and no app can ask to receive only some of them. So Pulp does read, in memory, the title and text of each notification it receives, and then decides immediately what to do with it. Only notifications from the apps you have ticked on the Watched apps screen produce an animation; every other one is discarded on the spot and nothing is kept from it.”
Privacy Policy, section 1Purchases go through Google Play
“Pulp never learns your identity, your address or your payment method; it only learns whether an item is owned or not. Payment processing is governed by Google's privacy policy.”

Your data
Delete your data
Pulp has no account. The policy puts it this way:
“Since PHIBCOM holds no data about you, there is nothing to ask us to delete: deletion is in your hands, on your device.”
“Erase everything: uninstall Pulp, or Android Settings → Apps → Pulp → Storage → Clear data.”
“Turn off the backup of your progress: Android Settings → System → Backup.”
